Reservation Process

How do I book a cabin?

Enter your check-in and check-out dates. If the cabin is available, the red "Book Now" button will appear. Click on the button and follow the easy step-by-step instructions. Watch our video tutorial here.

How do I find availability for a cabin?

To find availability for a cabin in Big Bear simply enter your check-in and check-out dates. The site will immediately tell you whether a cabin is available, or if your stay needs more nights to meet the minimum requirements.

Can I keep a property I like on hold?

Due to high demand we cannot keep a property on hold unless we have payment for the reservation.

How much of the total is due at the time of booking?

The full balance of the reservation is due at the time of booking.

Are cabins pet friendly?

Some cabins are pet friendly and some are not. You can see this under the cabin's House Rules on the property page.

Can I bring more guests than the maximum occupancy listed online?

You may not exceed the maximum number of guests listed online. The maximum occupancy is regulated by the local government and it cannot be exceeded.

Can I have more cars than the maximum parking listed online?

You may not exceed the number of vehicles listed online at any time during your stay. The maximum number of cars allowed at each cabin is regulated by the local government and it cannot be exceeded. Street parking is forbidden.

Do children count toward the maximum occupancy?

The maximum number of guests allowed includes all adults and children above the age of 2 years old.

What is a Vacation Rental Damage Protection plan?

As a part of your stay, you may purchase a Vacation Rental Damage Protection plan designed to cover unintentional damages to the rental unit interior that occur during your stay provided they are disclosed to management prior to check-out. If, during your stay at one of our rental properties, an insured person causes any damage to real or personal property of the unit as a result of inadvertent acts or omissions, the Insurer will reimburse the Insured for the cost of repair or replacement of such property. Certain terms and conditions apply. Full details of the Vacation Rental Damage coverage are contained in the Description of Coverage or Insurance Policy.

What is a Vacation Rental Travel Insurance?

CSA Vacation Rental Travel Insurance has been made available with your reservation. Vacation Rental Insurance reimburses for pre-paid, non-refundable expenses due to certain unforeseeable circumstances that may jeopardize your vacation investment and force you to incur unplanned expenses. We strongly recommend you purchase this valuable protection. If selected, you have a 10-day “Free Look” from the date of purchase. You have the ability to cancel coverage and receive a full refund if not completely satisfied – as long as you have notleft for the covered trip or filed a claim. If you do no purchase the travel insurance with your reservation you acknowledge you have read and understand our cancellation policy and choose not to purchase Vacation Rental Insurance on behalf of all occupants. Arriving to Big Bear

What time is check-in?

Check-in time is at 3:00 pm. The check-in time during the Christmas and New Year's holiday period is after 4:00pm.

Can I request an early check-in?

You can request an early check-in the day before your arrival. You can call our office at 909-547-0807 or send us an email. Sometimes we can accommodate early check-ins depending on the home's availability. We cannot confirm early check-ins with more than one day in advance. Early check-ins are not possible during the Christmas and New Years holidays due to the high volume of reservations.

What if I will be arriving after hours?

Contact us to make special arrangements.

Where do I go to check-in?

Our check-in office "All Protection Alarm" is located at 41937 Big Bear Blvd, Big Bear Lake, CA 92315.

What do I need to bring to the check-in office?

You will need a valid photo ID to check-in.

Can anyone in my group check-in at the office?

Only the card holder is allowed to check-in. If the card holder is unable to check-in, contact us to make special arrangements.

Who do I call in case of an emergency at the cabin?

If it's a medical or life threatening emergency, call 9-1-1. Should you have a home-related emergency please give call us at (909) 547-0807 or send us an email.

What are the road conditions in Big Bear?

Do I need snow chains for my car?

We recommend our guests to always carry chains in their vehicles when traveling to the San Bernardino Mountains during the winter months of November to May. The weather may quickly change and you want to be prepared for it.

What if we had an accident and an item or the home is damaged during our stay?

If items or the home are damaged during your stay, please contact us immediately at 909-547-0807 or email us at info@grizzlyvacationrentals.com.

What if I leave personal items at the cabin after my departure?

Please contact us as soon as you realize something has been left at the cabin. We will do our best to locate the item and return it to you upon request for a fee to cover the shipping.
