"Secluded, charming, and cozy cabin" My family and I came out here a few weeks ago to spend the last days of summer at Big Bear. It was an easy process booking the cabin as I was emailed back promptly by Grizzly Vacation Rentals. I filled out the rental agreement, paid and was provided simple directions on what to do upon arriving. When we drove up to the cabin, we were really impressed at how secluded the area was. We got in the cabin, and the house was clean and it felt very cozy. The decorations, pictures and ambiance of the home really made you feel welcomed. There is a full kitchen with everything you need to prepare a delicious meal for the family and the new grill in the patio was fantastic. The views we had from the patio were breathtaking and we spent a lot of time outside soaking in that fresh mountain air. The cabin had WiFi, tons of puzzles/board games, cable television, DVD player and it's basically a home away from home which is exactly what my family needed. We also brought our 2 small dogs and they felt right at home. The dogs were also able to spend quality time with us outside at the patio because the cabin comes with a dog friendly gate that can be installed. The only issue we had was the upstairs area became quite hot late into the afternoon and to the evening which made it difficult for us to sleep. There is a window air conditioning unit downstairs which helped cool the house down but the upstairs was warm until late night when the cool air was able to lower the temperature. The fans upstairs helped a lot and this is a seasonal issue which I am sure wouldn't matter during the winter time. Overall I would definitely stay here again and give it 5 stars because we absolutely enjoyed our weekend vacation there.

"GREAT LITTLE GET AWAY" This cabin was very sweet. It checked off all our boxes except for a fireplace which, in the end, really didn't matter. The reservation process was super simple and I love, love, love that they got back to me ASAP. When we find a cabin we like, it is always an agonizing process waiting for a response for rental. The check-in process was very easy as well and went off without a hitch. The cabin was so nice and clean and there was dated documentation on the table when we got there to let you know that someone had just been there to check things out and that is always a special touch. This cabin had everything we needed for our weekend get away. The view was great and we love sitting in the high chairs overlooking the area and enjoying the beautiful weather. We rent cabins in Big Bear about 4 times a year and we are forever looking for that perfect cabin to rent again and again. This one is certainly in the running. The only con would be that check-out is at 10 AM as opposed to the normal noon check-out we usually have everywhere else. A couple hours may not seem like much but when you are still on vacation and enjoy a little sleep-in, it makes it rushed to get everything packed up and ready. Overall a great little cabin and we will definitely come back.

"authentic cabin feel with modern conviences" Lovely cabin, old with updates and thoughtful touches. Perfect for dog lovers as the road above the cabin is a great place for a walk. Loved the decor!

"Expectations Exceeded" Let me start with WOW! I new from the location to the pumpkins in the yard that this was going to be a good vacation spot before even opening the cabin door. Once my family and I were inside it was official we were home for the weekend. Fall decor every where. Children DVDS in the bedroom even a good spooky one , classic board games, deck of cards. The place was very clean and had everything! literally all you need is food. There was a nice basket with hot coco and popcorn as well as coffee. The deck was heaven and the perfect place to relax and carve pumpkins. My husband was able to hook his PS4 up easy and enjoy his online game time with no problems from the WIFI. You can see the water from the balcony and its a very short walk to the lake. A very short drive to the village. the only thing i was worried about was were do we take the trash when we leave. (Big Bear doesn't have trash pick ups at Vacation Rentals.) But sure enough the trash site was right down the street so close and so simple. We cant wait to come back in the summer and the winter! If you have young kids great spot.

"All the comforts of home" All you need is your clothes and food. This place is very comfortable and comes with everything you need for a nice vacation. We loved the location (Boulder Bay). Very quiet and peaceful. A partial view of the bay. Nice deck to hang out on. Very clean and decorated just like a cabin should be. Just a couple blocks from the bay. Hiking near by (Pine Knot trail). Would definitely stay hear again. Only 1 bathroom (3/4), so plan your time well if you have more than 2 people, but just fine for the 2 of us. Oh, and our dog loved it to!

"Boulder Bay Getaway Retreat!" The Boulder Bay Getaway was the perfect retreat for our family. It was clean, spacious, and welcoming. The fully equipped kitchen was great! The second story was awesome for the kids and consisted of a loft with three separate beds. The downstairs heater warmed the entire cabin and it's corner location within the neighborhood provided plenty of privacy. The lake is two blocks away within easy walking distance and downtown Big Bear is an easy five minute drive. Overall this cabin worked great for our family and we will definitely be back!!!

"We had a lovely stay. We will be back" This trip was a couple's getaway including my best friend, her husband, my husband and myself. We like to stay in Big Bear every year and have been doing so for the past 4 years. From all the places we've stayed at, this cute cabin was the best! It had everything we needed and more. The beds were comfy, plenty of blankets, super cute decor, TV in all the rooms (very helpful), and it they even gave us free internet access! My friend and I cooked most of the meals while we were there and the kitchen had everything we needed. Having a table on the deck outside was a big plus. I would suggest to the homeowner to change the set up of the TV in the living room. You gotta unplug a cable on the back to see the DVD and the netflix. Other than that everything was perfect! I would definitely recommend it.
