Four Seasons Retreat

Despite assurances based on previous comments we could not get the hot tub over 94° and we just didn’t have the patience to keep working at it. Also because there is one thermostat for the entire house those guests downstairs stayed nice and cool while those of us upstairs were unable to breathe it was so hot. We had no choice but to open the windows. It was probably the two worst nights’ sleep ever and I like being warm when I sleep. Other than that there was plenty of signage. I would suggest people by firelogs versus bundles of firewood. Again a lot of energy into building a fire in the tiny wood-burning stove in the living room. Also for a cabin that sleeps up to 10 seating more than six in the living room became awkward. Despite these minor issues, it is a very spacious cabin. It is so welcoming. We would definitely stay here again.

The cabin was great for what we were looking for. There was plenty to keep us entertained and the kids absolutely loved the game room.

I just got back from a stay at this place - there were 9 in my group. The owners thought of everything. Game room is so fun. Awesome hot tub and firepit outside. I'll definitely stay here again. Only thing was that the upstairs got SO HOT even after adjusting the heat - we had to open up the windows to cool it down. That was the only issue. Everything else was great. Can't beat the price either!

A surprisingly nice place to stay in the city of Big Bear. No views, but the cabin makes up for it in all the things it has to offer. Air Hockey, Foosball, bar quality video game machine, darts, great hot tub, great fire pit with log seating, horseshoes, poker table, and more. Interior recently redone and very high quality finish and furnishings. The only draw back is the cabin in somewhat small and may not play out well for groups larger than five or six. The thing I would change is the seating in the living room which only seats four people. I would take out two of the end tables and put in a much larger couch (that seats four) along the wall that adjoins the bedroom. But other than that, the cabin was near perfect.

We had a great stay. Close to everything. Beautiful front and back yard. House was clean and very cute. Game room was fabulous.

This cabin lives up to the photographs. It is a very fun place to spend a few days. Property manager was professional and accommodating.

The electrical on the house was out thanksgiving night and the next morning. Frustrating!!!! Food was ruined and extra money had to be spent eating out!!!!!!

Loved the property and had a great time with my two grandchildren. If I was going to give any suggestions for improvement it would only be that a door be put on the downstairs bedroom. Even an accordian door would be better than none. But that is a small issue and it is not really a complaint. Love it.

I chose this cabin for my family and I to celebrate all the July birthdays. Ages rage from grandparents to 2yr old twins. The older kids (16-18) loved all the house amenities. I love the fact that house it modern but still has a cabin vibe. The house provides everything you need. I recommend buying food at the local market instead of bring food for your stay. Everyone loved the clean bathrooms and game room. The hot tub worked perfectly for our stay. Only set back was the house does not have a/c, but the property manager quickly arranged for portable fans and the ceiling fans make a big difference. Another good thing for parents with kids that still need naps, the upstairs bedrooms provides a quiet area even with all the excitement of the downstairs game room. Over is was a great stay and would recommend this cabin to other families.

It was my daughters birthday and she had brought a few friends . I thought it would be difficult to entertain the girls. fantastic cabin. But it had plenty of things to do at the cabin . The spa which I couldn't figure how to warm it up , but the owner came within an hour to show me how to work it. Which I am very appreciative of taking time on memorial weekend to go out of your way. Last but not least , the game room was absolutely amazing . Girls loved it.!! At night we roasted marshmallows on that awesome fire pit .i would definitely come to this cabin again..

The hot tub is broken and the lights flickered A lot but overall the house was good

We came to the cabin for my boyfriend's 30th birthday and had a great stay. The game room and outdoors were GREAT for entertaining. The process of checking in & out was seamless. We would definitely stay again. Thanks for an awesome stay!!!

Our group of 6 had a blast staying here and we plan to return. The game room and hot tub were big hits and where we spent most of our time. 5 stars all the way!

I sent my husband up to the house with 5 teenagers to celebrate my son's 18th birthday. They had a blast, especially with the game room. Everything was in good condition and everyone was very comfortable. Thank you!

The game room was super nice and fun as well. The floors were a little wonky but all the games worked well! Everything was clean when we got there and it accomadated 10 easily and probably would fit up to 15. The bunk beds are a full. It was a very fun experience!

We had 2 families of 5 each for 3 nights and we had a great time. The game room was awesome as well as the hot tub. The place was very well equipped with all the necessities and the entire house was in beautiful shape.

We would definitely come back to this place. The only negative that I could add is that you have to take your trash to the dump or be charged an additional $50 which for the price of the rental seems crazy especially if you are driving out the back way as you would need to head 4 miles into town in heavy traffic to drop off the trash.

Very well maintained home with many newer amenities while keeping the mountain feel. The game room was a hit with my family, we spent many hours in there having a lot of fun. Jacuzzi was a great way to wind down from the day. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

We loved this home! Everything was very modern, and the game room was just great!!! We would love to stay there again when we go back to Big bear! The home is highly recommended!

The experience with reservations, check in, instructions, check out, and of course the stay was Amazing!! The cabin was beautiful, clean, and updated! I wish we could have stayed longer. Our kids loved the game room and Big Bear Village along with the Time Bandit pirate ship. It was fun for all of us and more then expected. Awesome job!!! Definitely doing it again. My husband and I wanted to get out of the heat for our anniversary weekend, so we decided to head to the mountains! We found this awesome cabin and will be going back another time for sure! We were most impressed by the cleanliness and all of the updates. All amenities were there--we lacked nothing. Though it is a short drive into downtown Big Bear, that was not a problem at all--in fact it was nice to be a bit removed from downtown. The owners of this cabin have great taste--everything was remodeled with high-quality materials and the attention to detail in all the decor was impressive. There is also PLENTY of room. This place could easily be enough room for a number of couples or a really large family. My girlfriends and I even talked about renting it for a scrapbooking retreat, as it would easily accommodate 8+ adults. We will definitely be back and I doubt you could find a more affordable cabin--especially not one that has everything this one has.
