Spacious, 1-story mountain cabin with comfortable layout. Two bedrooms at each end of the home with a bathroom in each hallway. The living room, dining room and kitchen are in the middle of the home. This set up works well for two families with children. The living room has a big rock fireplace. From the dining room you can access the large, fully fenced yard. There's a nice propane BBQ and a set of patio furniture with seating for 6.
The pool table room is off the bunk bedroom. We enjoy playing darts here. The pool table can be turned into a ping pong table. The garage will hold one car, plus two more in the driveway. Feel free to contact us for more details or any questions you have.
Q: How do we check-in?
A: Detailed instructions on how to check-in are sent in the confirmation email. You are required to follow the check-in instructions provided. The confirmation email has the address of the rental, check-in instructions and any other information pertaining to check-in. Please let us know if you’ll be arriving afterhours.
Q: What time is check-in and check-out?
A: Check-in time is 3pm and check-out time is 10am. During the Christmas and New Year holiday period (Dec 18-Jan 3), check-in is at 4pm due to high demand.
Q: Can I bring more than10 guests?
A: No. The maximum occupancy allowed for this home is 10 guests. The limits are strictly enforced and may not be exceeded at any time during your stay.
Q: Can I bring more than 2 cars?
A: No. The maximum number of vehicles allowed is 2. The limits are strictly enforced and may not be exceeded at any time during your stay.
Q: Are dogs allowed?
A: Yes, dogs are allowed. There's a pet fee. Pet fee must be paid prior to your arrival to the cabin.Â
Q: Are linens and towels provided?
A:Yes. Linens and towels are provided. There are enough towels for 10 guests.
Q: Does the home have Air Conditioning?
A: No. The home does not have Air Conditioning.
Q: Do I need chains? Will there be snow during my stay?
A: Always carry chains in your vehicle if your trip falls between November and April. Our guests can check weather and road conditions in real time by clicking on the links in their confirmation email. We can’t accurately predict when there will be snow.
Q: Is the firewood provided?
A: Firewood is not provided. You can purchase firewood bundles at any of the grocery stores in town. The bundles usually last about 1 day.
Q: Do you provide propane for the BBQ?
A: Yes.
Q: Do I need to take my trash at the end of the stay?
A: Yes. In accordance to City Ordinance all guests must take the trash to a disposal site at the end of the stay. Trash bags and directions to the disposal site are available at the cabin.

"Great stayed for a big family, big backyard great phone reception only problem was the WiFi."
Our stayed was very comfortable, the playroom had a lot of different things to played with the family. Definitely loved the view of the backyard and how big it was, if only the WiFi could have worked during our stayed, but overall we didn’t have any problems with the phone reception in the house.

Had a great time during our stay in Big Bear. I loved the retro feel of the house. Had some trouble with the WiFi, but I called the rental agency, and for the most part the WiFi problem was fixed right away. Great house to rent for families, since it has a room with bunk beds and game room as well. Right in the heart of the town too - so you are close to everything.

I loved the front and back yard the kids and dogs had a great time playing on the snow. The property is outdated but when you are having a good time, you dont need a castle.

Our family along with another family had a wonderful time staying here. The play room with the pool table was a hit with the kids. We would definitely stay here again.

"Clean, Big, Well-furnished"
Came here for a weekend get-away with a friend and the location was perfect, being about 2 hours away from LA. The scenery was beautiful with mountains encircling us and the more isolated feel of the area compared with the city really helped us relax which was exactly what we were going for. One of the things I noticed first was how well-furnished the rooms are, the decor for each room was different and really cute especially the kids room even though neither of us stayed there since there were multiple other rooms to choose from. The backyard is a nice place to chat and have a drink, the weather was still nice since it was September so there was enough sun to keep us comfortable. Playing pool in the activity room area was a big highlight, spent several hours just shooting around. There's also a cute shopping area called "The Village" that's only a 15 min uber ride away so we went there for the evening and had some great beer at a local pub and great fudge at one of the candy shops! Only complaint would be that the internet was a bit spotty when we first arrived but I'm keeping the 5 star rating because when we notified the property owner people they immediately called the internet provider on our behalf who helped us try some different things with the modem which stabilized the signal. I definitely plan to go back for another weekend getaway in a few months. Would recommend for sure to others near LA looking to escape for a bit!

Big Bear is such a beautiful place to visit.
Lots to do. Location is close to town, lake, skiing, and trails. Charming retro house with quaint, themed rooms. The game room has everything for a great time. The patio and yard was spacious with a fully functioning nice grill and mature trees. Fully equiped kitchen with everything that you need to cook and grill and eat with. Large dining room table. Very clean. Wifi access and Hulu and Netflix for entertainment. This location has everything you need for a great large family or even multifamily vacation.

The home had a welcoming atmosphere with cute cabin décor for each room! Plenty of space for the whole family to enjoy time together with a large backyard for games and hammock set up. Highlight was the game room with a pool and ping pong table!! Always a cozy house to return to after a fun day of exploring the town.

We stayed here with family and friends for a week in the summer. Plenty of room to spread out. Kids had their own space to hang out and play ping pong or pool while the adults sat outside and enjoyed the big backyard. The kitchen had all the amenities needed for cooking and barbecuing. Close to hiking and biking trails. Easy drive to the market. Located in a quiet neighborhood great for evening walks. Clean and well maintained, would stay again!

Lots of room for everyone to spread out, and everything you needed was there, from books and movies to toys and games to all the kitchen items you need to cook anything you could think of. This was a nice house, roomy, nice game room ,very clean , everyone enjoyed being there after a day of snowboarding. Would like to be back in the summer.
"Great Getaway"
I rented this cabin for a birthday getaway with my 2 closest friends. It was the perfect size for the 9 of us. The cabin is fully equipped especially the kitchen! The kids room was very spacious and we loved that it was conveniently side by side with the room that had the pool/ping pong table and darts. I of course had many questions after booking and loved that every single time I emailed the responses I received were almost immediate. Erika was was very prompt and courteous. The neighborhood was nice and quiet and it was a very short drive to the village. I am looking forward to booking again as soon as snow arrives to take advantage of the big and spacious back yard.
"Nice Cabin"
Cabin was very nice and clean. Had alot of bedrooms and tons of space enough for 9 people. The only thing that i didn't like was how dry it was inside the cabin especially when the heater was on. I was sneezing a lot and had to use nasal spray, but other than that it was a nice stay.
